Distance vs. Displacement
Displacement is when your moving something or a object for where it started. Like today in class Ms.Reid started at x=2 and the she walked 4 to the right so here final is going to be at x=6. Distance is how far you went for a point to a other point. Like today in class when we did that classwork lets say I started at 2cm and I got 4 to the right, then 1 to the left my distance was 5cm because I moved 5 times.

Barbie Bungee Data Estimates
My estimate for the drop of a barbie with 10 rubber bands is going to be at least around 140 cm because every time we drop the barbie it will double or be more then the first try you did. My estimate for the drop with the 20 rubber is at least around 160/170cm because every time I did that experiment that drop will always double the (cm). For the drop of the barbie with 30 rubber it's at least going to be around 200cm or 210cm depending how many times you do it.
Metric Units
We use metric in science class instead of english units because maybe is a much easier system to conversion from one unit to another unit.
1. Milk
2. A measuring cup
3. Pencil
Estimating Distances
The length of the front my house is exactly 2 meters because it has a tree in the front of my house.
Step 1: I measure the front of my house with my feet.
Step 2: 4 steps are/we're 1 meter
Step 3: Then I count how many step I make, and every time I count to 4 it's 1 meter and so on.

Reaction Time
Reaction time is the amount of time it takes you to react to something. One example is when you put your hand 5 cm below a ruler and see how fast you can catch it . Second example of a reaction is when your like texting and trying to catch the ruler at the same time to see how fast you can get it or if you can't . Third example is when your running to half of a basketball court will someone else try's to shot a point and see which one is faster.
